About Us
CEAV Career Counselling Australia (CCCA) is a subsidiary of The Australian Centre for Career Education (ACCE), a national career education subject association and thought leader in career development. ACCE is a founding member association of the national peak industry body, the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA).
CCCA's mission is to ensure vulnerable members of the community and those at risk of unemployment or underemployment can access quality career education and guidance to overcome barriers and achieve their best outcomes. We provide a wide range of career services to the community, employers, government, education providers, parents, and not-for-profit organisations working in the community, disability, refugee, youth and forensic sectors. Our clients include:

Our History
CCCA was established by the Australian Centre for Career Education (ACCE) in 2014 as a separate entity to focus on vulnerable and underprivileged youth and adults in community.
In 2023, the CCCA Board approved CCCA becoming a subsidiary of ACCE. CCCA is now managed by ACCE and Governed by the ACCE Board of Directors.
Mission
Our mission is to ensure vulnerable members of the community and those at risk of unemployment or underemployment can access quality career education, development and guidance to overcome barriers.
CCCA is a registered DGR status charity. ACCE is a founding member association of the Career Industry Council of Australia.


Person-centred career counselling
We deliver a person-centred career counselling approach to our clients. Our Career Professionals have completed a Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice (or equivalent) course endorsed by CICA. We adhere to the ACCE Code of Ethics and the CICA Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners. Our team are also trained in the use of evidence-based vocational tools: the Morrisby Profile and the Employment Readiness Scale™ Vocational Tool.
The CCCA Ready2Work Program has supported the community's most disadvantaged job seekers by helping individuals identify their work ready strengths and areas for skill development including:
- support to establish goals
- help to explore careers and develop a career plan
- support and skill development for job search and job applications
- understanding labour market information
- transitioning from education to work
- increasing employability
- changing careers
- overcoming barriers to employment.
