This page outlines the Terms and Conditions for ACCE Bookshop orders, Webinars and Workshops.
Bookshop Terms and Conditions
- All prices listed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
- We do not collect credit card details; customers who wish to pay via credit card or online will be directed to our secure PayWay page.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to limit quantities.
- ACCE reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product availability, or errors in pricing.
- We accept various payment methods. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable payment method for your order.
- We aim to dispatch orders within a specified timeframe. Delivery times may vary based on location and shipping method.
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the website.
- Orders placed by invoice that are not processed within the 14 days of payment may be cancelled.
Bookshop Returns and Refunds
- We accept returns within a specified period (2 weeks) for items in new condition. Refunds will be processed upon receipt of the returned item.
Webinar Terms and Conditions
- By registering for or attending this ACCE webinar you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register or participate.
- Registration is required for participation.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. - Access details will be provided via email and are non-transferable.
- ACCE members are allowed to register their colleagues.
The content presented during the webinar is for informational purposes only. - ACCE reserve the right to make changes to the content, schedule, or speakers without prior notice.
- All opinions expressed are those of the presenters and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Australian Centre for Career Education.
- Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share these webinar materials without prior written permission to events@acce.org.au
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully. Disruptive, inappropriate, or abusive behaviour may result in removal from the webinar without refund or notice.
- The webinar may be recorded for future reference, marketing, or distribution and made available to members in the Member Webinar Library.
- By participating, you consent to the recording and use of your image, voice, or comments.
- Personal data collected during registration will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection and compatible device/software. ACCE is not responsible for technical issues that prevent access or participation.
- The organiser accepts no liability for any loss or damage suffered in connection with the webinar, including but not limited to technical failures or content inaccuracies.
- If the webinar is cancelled by the ACCE registrants will be notified and may be offered a refund where applicable or access to a rescheduled event.
- No refunds will be issued for participant cancellations unless otherwise stated.
Workshop Terms and Conditions
- Workshop Fees are non-transferable unless explicitly approved by the Australian Centre for Career Education prior to the workshop.
- Online registrations received by ACCE are considered confirmed.
- No tentative bookings will be accepted.
- All materials, handouts, slides, and other content provided during the Workshop are the property of the organiser or its presenters
- You may not reproduce, record, distribute, or share any of the content without prior written consent.
- The Workshop may be photographed, video-recorded, or live-streamed by ACCE or its presenters. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, voice, and participation for promotional or educational purposes.
- For virtual workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable device and internet connection.
- For in-person workshops, please arrive on time and comply with any venue rules, safety guidelines, or health protocols.
- Cancellations by participants must be made via email to events@acce.org.au
- A refund policy (if applicable) may be taken into consideration only in the case of emergency situations.
- If the Workshop is cancelled by ACCE, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another session. ACCE is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs if an event is cancelled.
- If acknowledgement of a cancellation request is not received within five business days, the delegate should contact ACCE on: (03) 9433 8000.
- ACCE reserves the right to make changes to the program, including presenters and sessions where necessary.
- By attending this workshop, attendees consent to their image and videos being taken and used at the discretion of the ACCE.
- ACCE shall not be held liable for personal accidents, losses or damage to the private property of registered delegates, speakers, trade stall holders and others in attendance at a workshop.
- The views expressed by any event attendee or speaker do not necessarily reflect the views of ACCE.
