Student Membership & Professional Development

Full details about membership and professional development options we have available can be found on our ACCE (Australian Centre for Career Education) website.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP:

Student membership is available to students currently enrolled in the Certificate IV in Career Development or the Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice with the CEAV Institute or another CICA endorsed qualification.

To apply for student membership for one year, evidence of enrolment into a CICA endorsed qualification is to be supplied. Students enrolled with the CEAV Institute RTO 22523 will not be required to submit evidence.

Upon completion of your course, you will be eligible to upgrade your membership status. Students undertaking the Certificate IV in Career Development will be eligible for Associate membership. Students undertaking the Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice will be eligible for Professional membership.

The cost of our student membership has been significantly discounted only for current students and is now available to purchase for just $57 (valid for 12 months). View the Our Membership Page to learn more about the student membership benefits and costs.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

The Continuing Professional Development learning calendar is in support of your studies as you work towards becoming an Associate or Professional Member within the field of Career Education studies. Members will receive Certificates of Participation that will automatically be loaded for live attendance to a PD session, can watch recorded webinars on demand and map additional learning into their custom CPD tracker via the ACCE member lounge.

All ACCE professional development is open to members and the public including students. Different rates apply. To receive a member discount, you need to login to the Member Lounge first. Non-members can register directly through the online Shop. The Webinar Series are provided free of charge to ACCE Members only as it is sponsored by the Department of Education for Victorian schools.

All ACCE professional development is mapped to the CICA Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners and the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

ACCE Professional and Associate Members must complete a minimum of 15 hours of CPD per year.
