2025 ACCE Conference

During the registration process, you will be asked to read and agree to the terms and conditions below. Please contact the Australian Centre for Career Education if you have any questions.

1. Registrations & Attendance

1.1 Delegates are unable to split a conference registration. Sharing of a registration is not permitted and a single registration cannot be used by more than one person.

1.2 Only registered delegates will be guaranteed access to the event.

1.3 If a non-member registers for the event at a discounted member rate, ACCE will invoice the delegate for an annual membership ($262.50). This also applies to members whose membership has lapsed. The invoiced membership payment must be received by ACCE before the delegate attends the conference.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

2.1 Cancellation requests must be emailed to: events@acce.org.au with a copy of the registration order/receipt or the registration will not be cancelled by ACCE.

2.2 Registrants wishing to cancel a conference registration must review the deadlines for full or partial refunds and ensure their written email cancellation request is received by:

  •       Midnight (AEST), Friday 31 October 2025 for a full refund minus a $50 administration fee. Between midnight on Sat 1 November and midnight on Sunday 16 November 2025 for a 50% refunded of their registration cost. No refunds are available for cancellation requestions received after 17 November 2025.

 

2.3 If acknowledgement of a cancellation request is not received within five business days, the delegate should contact ACCE on: 03 9433 8000.

2.4 Transfer of registration to another person is available if the full name and address details of the replacement delegate is provided in writing to events@acce.org.au five business days prior to the commencement of the conference.  Delegates transferring a registration must include the membership status of the person they intend to transfer their conference registration to. Discounted membership registrations will not be transferred to a non-member delegate without an additional membership payment being paid prior to the conference. Please note that changes to dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed.

2.5 Online registrations received by ACCE are considered confirmed.  No tentative bookings will be accepted.

2.6 No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the conference and any unpaid registration fees will still be payable.

2.7 In the case of a medical emergency resulting in the inability to attend the conference, a delegate must provide a medical certificate or appropriate documentation before any refund will be considered by emailing this to events@acce.org.au.Where the conference organisers are advised of a medical situation after the conference, and a refund is deemed appropriate, the delegate will be charged an administration fee of $50 and any catering charges associated with their registration.

2.8 University conference accommodation is arranged between the university and the delegate. ACCE takes no responsibility for cancellations or unpaid accommodation charges. Delegates seeking to change or cancel their accommodation must contact bsradmin@deakin.edu.au.

 

3. Program changes

ACCE reserves the right to make changes to the program, including presenters and sessions where necessary.

 

4. Delegate Details

Sponsors may be given a list of delegates including name, organisation and email address only. Your registration form will indicate whether you have agreed or rejected to having your information included on the delegate list.

 

5. Photography and Videography

By attending this event, attendees consent to their image and videos being taken and used at the discretion of the ACCE.

 

6. Liability

ACCE shall not be held liable for personal accidents, losses or damage to the private property of registered delegates, speakers, trade stall holders and others in attendance at the 2025 ACCE Conference.

 

7. Force Majeure
In the event that the conference is delayed, postponed, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of ACCE, including but not limited to acts of God, government restrictions, pandemics, natural disasters, or any other event deemed a force majeure, ACCE will not be held liable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred by registered delegates, speakers, trade stall holders and others in attendance.

 

8. General

The views expressed by any event attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor do not necessarily reflect the views of ACCE.  All attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, and/or advertising.  

 

9. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and presentations provided by ACCE, presenters, and stallholders are protected by intellectual property laws. Attendees, exhibitors, and other participants shall not record, reproduce, distribute, or use any of the materials presented or displayed without prior written consent from the respective rights holder. ACCE retains the right to use event-related content for promotional purposes, including but not limited to photographs, videos, and presentations, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
